The School Board Nominating Committee (SBNC) is composed of concerned citizens, like you, who want to ensure the highest quality of education for our children. Each January, Scarsdale citizens elect 2 members from each of the 5 elementary school areas to serve on the SBNC. The responsibility of our Committee is to promote the election of candidates to the School Board, solely based on their qualifications to serve the community.

- The School Board Nominating Committee (SBNC) is a committee of citizens elected from across the Village for the purpose of nominating candidates to fill vacancies on the Scarsdale Board of Education. Each year, two members are elected from each of the five elementary school districts to serve a three year term on the Nominating Committee, an additional year on the Administrative and Joint Committees, and a final year on the Joint Committee.
